How will it be my invoice?

At Lumisa we like transparency, so we explain all the concepts to you:

At this point, the most relevant data about the invoice is detailed. As they are:
  • Invoice number: Corresponds to a unique number to which each one of the invoices is associated
  • Date of issue: It is the date on which the invoice is generated and issued.
  • Invoicing period: It is the date range for which the invoice is issued. It includes the number of days of the period, which is the one for which the fixed fees of the services will be billed in the breakdown on the back.
  • Contract number: Corresponds to a combination of a letter (E) and six numbers, which is associated with each client.

Here is a brief summary of the billing details and the total amount to be paid in the corresponding invoice.

The reading will tell us exactly how much we have spent during the billing period that is specified at the top of the sheet. The terms to which it refers are:
  • Current consumption (which is what we have spent since the day we signed up until today).
  • The previous consumption (which is the one that was billed last month or the last bill you received).
  • It is subtracted between the 2, and the consumption that has occurred between one and the other is obtained, which will be the one you have to pay. It is in the concept “consumption” in bold so you don't get confused.
  • If the term appears estimated reading is the value that your Distributor calculates taking as reference the consumption of your Supply Point/s corresponding to the average of the last three months. You can provide us with the reading of your meter through the mail atcliente@ lumisa.es.

If there is any notification, we will notify you here, such as an incident in the reading of your meter, and/or corrective invoices.

This information may vary depending on the company, there are some that repeat the information in different ways, or more broken down, and several months together, instead of one, but we are committed to clarity and simplicity.

These are the data of your contract, if you always have them updated you will be able to make your queries and procedures more quickly. Here we will detail the most important concepts:
  • CNAE: It is the National Code of Economic Activity.
  • CUPS: It is the Universal Code of the Supply Point. It is a unique code for each energy supply (electricity/gas) that identifies it. It starts with the sequence ES followed by 20 digits. You can find it in the supply data of your electricity bill.
  • Contracted power: It will be the one that was chosen at the time with the company based on the needs and within the range of your rate. For example, if you have a 2.0A rate, it means that your power can range from 0.34 kW to 10 kW. Depending on your usual energy consumption, you can opt for one power or another, in an average apartment, it is usually around 5 kW. It is important since there are people who have contracted a power well above what they need. We have other articles with tips in which we help you discover it.
  • The network access fee: It is the rate you have contracted, whether you have hourly discrimination or not will depend on it, and the power band you have stipulated.

  • Power Term: Is the summary of the power you have contracted for the days in which the invoice has been generated, the price per kW.
  • Energy Term: The kWh consumed in terms of energy with its corresponding price.
  • Tax on electricity: It is a 5.11% set by the state.
  • VAT: It is 21% and it is also set by the state.
  • Measuring equipment rental: If you don't have your own meter, you have to pay your distributor a small monthly amount for renting metering equipment.
  • Discounts: If there were special rates or discounts in your contract, we would show them here.

The final amount appears, which is what you are going to be charged, and your bank details.
