It is important to note that when there is no more sunlight, no compensation is made, as your installation is not generating energy to feed into the grid.

This self-consumption tariff is tailored for solar installations and offers a price of €0.13985/kWh across all periods (peak, flat, and off-peak), which when combined with surplus compensation, maximizes your savings.
With Lumisa's virtual battery and under the Simplified Surplus Compensation (CSE) mechanism, compensation is not limited to the cost of consumed energy. The value of your surplus can be applied to all items on your bill: power, meter rental, electricity tax, other charges, and VAT. If your production is high enough, you can get a €0 bill. And if there’s any remaining balance after covering all costs, it rolls over to your next bill, boosting your system’s profitability. Surplus is mainly generated during sunny hours (8 AM to 10 AM is optimal), and not during dark hours (after around 7 PM).
