Prices including taxes include the Special Electricity Tax (IEE) of 5.11% and the Value Added Tax (VAT), which as of January 1, 2025, will be 21%, according to Royal Decree-Law 8/2023, of December 27. The new regulated costs to be applied starting January 1, 2025, are specified in Order TED/1487/2024, of December 26, which sets the prices for system charges and establishes various regulated costs for the electricity system for 2025, approved by the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge, and in Resolution RAP/DE/009/24, which sets the access tolls for transport and distribution networks for 2025, issued by the National Commission of Markets and Competition (CNMC).

The monthly price for the electricity meter rental will be set at any given time by the Ministry of Industry, Energy, and Tourism for the corresponding Access Rate and charged by the Distribution Company, with VAT included, and will be indicated in the invoices issued by LUMISA.

These prices include the regulated cost associated with the Social Bonus funding mechanism, as per Order TED/1487/2024, of December 26, for Social Bonus financing: Fixed cost per customer (commercialization) of 0.0127424301 euros/day.

Any variations, both increases and decreases, in the applicable taxes and regulated concepts, including system charges, access tolls, and meter rental, will be applied. Additionally, any new regulated concepts, fees, or taxes that are created or replace current ones and become applicable during the term of this contract may be passed on to the price.

Offer for new electricity contracts with access rate 2.0TD, intended for supplies with contracted power of 15 kW or less and no Social Bonus. Conditions will remain active for 12 months from the start date of the contract. Rate with no commitment to permanence.

A 15% discount on the energy term is included in the applicable prices during the first year of the electricity supply contract. After the promotional period of one year, the public sale price will be applied. If, after two (2) consecutive months of consumption equal to 0 kWh in the energy term, the price will be modified to the public sale price in the third billing.

Frequently asked questions

A fixed rate is a contract where the price per kWh of energy remains stable during the agreed period. This allows you to avoid fluctuations in electricity prices, so you always know what you'll pay. At Lumisa, we offer two fixed rate options:

  • Lumisa 3, with 3 differentiated periods based on consumption (P1, P2, P3) and a 15% discount on the energy term during the first year
  • Lumisa Simple 24h, offering a single price all day, without worrying about schedules.

Both rates are without long-term commitment and are designed to fit your household's needs.

The contract lasts for 12 months from the signing of the contract, and the prices of the fixed rate remain constant during that period, unless there are changes in the items regulated by law. After the first year, the contract will be renewed with the current prices for each rate.

Yes, you can change your rate once a year. Whether it’s from a fixed rate to an indexed rate or vice versa.

At the end of the contract, Lumisa will notify you in advance to offer a renewal or present new rate options tailored to your needs.

There are no penalties for terminating a fixed rate early, as there is no commitment.

The 15% discount on the Lumisa 3 rate lasts 12 months, meaning during the first year of the contract, you will pay 15% less on the energy term. After that period, the price will adjust to the public selling price.

Remember that if you don’t consume energy for two consecutive months, you will lose the discount and the selling price will be applied in the third billing.
