How does it work?

Virtual service activation

If you have a photovoltaic installation, we will take care of activating it so that you can benefit from the service.

Produce energy in your installation

Your photovoltaic installation produces energy during daylight hours. Part of this energy is consumed in your home or business, and the other part is used to compensate for excess energy.

Accumulate balance in the Virtual Wallet

The rest of the excess energy that have not been able to be compensated will be accumulated, and will be converted into an amount in euros or kWh.

Save on your electricity bill

You can save up to 100% on your electricity bill. And if you still haven't used up your balance, you can accumulate it for the following bills.

Faqs

The only requirements that you must meet to enjoy the Virtual Battery service will be to have a contract with Lumisa Energías and to have a photovoltaic installation that is eligible for simplified compensation.
The Virtual Wallet service is totally free so you can make the most of your excess solar energy and save on your electricity bill. The Virtual Battery service has a Virtual Battery rental cost of 7,5€/kW/month.
We compensate the excess energy generated and not consumed that you store in your Virtual Wallet at €0.08/kWh.
The compensation limit on your electricity bill is when your consumption reaches 0 €.
Yes, it is necessary that you have a contract with Lumisa Energías and as long as you maintain ownership of the electricity supply contract in your name.
No, you cannot include your Virtual Wallet with supplies from another owner. If you did, it would be considered a donation and would be subject to donation taxes according to tax regulations.
Yes, even though your photovoltaic installation has a physical battery, with the the Virtual Wallet you can also take advantage of the excess energy generated by your installation when your physical battery is already full.
No, you can cancel it whenever you want and we won't apply cancellation fees.
